I thought our first Black president would save us! But just like the promise of 40 acres and a mule - nothing for the poor working man! So let's party!

PARKING: The house is located just east of Marsh Lane and south of Royal. Additional parking at the Marsh Lane Baptist Church just behind the house. (Out of respect please keep you're alcohol in the brown paper bags until you cross the alley!)

CELEBRATING: The end of slavery in Texas 144 years ago; our remaining civil liberties; and free bailout money (please bring the hosts some)!

DRESS: Sackcloth; Goodwill/Salvation Army recycles; Wal-Mart attire; your employed neighbor's hand-me-downs!

FOOD: whatever you can afford to bring - it's a depression remember?, chicken, watermelon, acorns and bird seed.

DRINKS:BYOB! No government bailout here!
Setups provided, including Big Red Soda, Pop and Bottled Water; Malt lager

INVITED GUESTS INCLUDE: Executives from Wall Street; unemployed GM and Chrysler workers; street bums and you!
